Spring Peeper Frogs

These are a common frog in Michigan, and for many people they are associated with the beginning of spring as much as the Western Chorus Frogs are for me. Unfortunately, I do not have a Spring Peeper habitat in my backyard. There are always a few that show up, but not very many. Even worse, these frogs are both tiny and secretive, like the Western Chorus Frogs. I have only a few photos of one frog I stumbled upon while trying to photo a Western Chorus Frog. I actually thought I was photographing the chorus frog, until I got home and saw the tell-tale "X" marking on the back of its back in my photos.
